If there is a delinquent effective date next to a licensees name, the date listed is the date in 2012 that the licensee was authorized to proceed from the preceding year ending December 31, 2011 to practice veterinary medicine in West Virginia in 2012. All licenses expire annually December 31, unless the license is suspended or revoked prior to the end of the year or was renewed as a Ltd. renewal as explained below. If there is no date listed in a delinquent effective date column next to a licensee's name, the licensee was authorized to commence practice in 2012 effective January 1, 2012. LTD column with a date listed for veterinarians means that veterinarian was authorized to renewal with deficiencies in continuing education due to medical conditions which restricted his or her ability to obtain appropriate c.e. in 2011 for 2012 renewal. The date specified means the date by which the licensee must complete the required deficient c.e. to renew for the balance of 2012. Hours for completion of deficient c.e. completed in 2012 may not be used toward renewal requirements for 2013 renewal.
